15 Jan 10 All Natural Products Should Should Try In 2020
If one of your goals in 2020 is to live a cleaner and more natural life this post is a must read. I have put together a list of my favorite natural products that will make transitioning to clean living a little easier.
I have tested all of these products and given my stamp of approval to each and every one. Important Reminder: Please note that some of the links below are affiliate links for companies that I love, personally use and totally recommend. Azalea Organic Tampons
If you are like me then you put a tampon in and 20 minutes later you are worried you have toxic shock syndrome. I am very particular about what I put in my body and that includes female products. Azalea has created a naturally hypoallergenic product that contains no chemicals, fragrances, synthetics or dyes. It is 100% organic cotton grown without the use of persistent pesticides. This obviously helps protect your body and limits toxic and long-lasting chemicals in our environment. Unlike many of the other natural tampons which use cardboard applicators, Azalea has a plant based plastic applicator that is sleek and discreet. It is the best organic cotton tampon I have found and I won’t be using any other the rest of my life.
Pique Tea
Clean tea is the best tea. I’m a fan of Pique Tea because it is triple toxin screened for heavy metals and toxic mold. It also is concentrated through a process that extracts up to 12x the antioxidants vs regular tea. Also, how handy are these, they are little sticks so you can carry them with you wherever you go. Super easy to throw in hot or cold water during the day instead of grabbing a soda.
Weldea Skin Food
You can’t go wrong with one of the top clean beauty brands in the world. If Weleda is not in your skincare line up it’s time to add it to the mix. Every night I slather my hands and chest with the Original Ultra Rich Cream, you can feel and see the moisture soak in instantly. I am a huge fan of the Weleda Regenerating Pomegranate Hand Cream, it smells amazing and makes my skin so smooth.
Arnica Mineral Bath Salt
Taking a bath is great but why not add in a detox booster. Taking an Epsom salt detox bath is key for helping to improve the body’s natural detoxification process and promote healing. The two main ingredients are usually magnesium and sulfate, which provide benefits like: soothe skin, reduce soreness and pain, reduce stress.
Joovv Red Light
Give me light in 2020, but only red light, please. I have been obsessively reading the research behind red and near infrared (NIR) light therapy. The Joovv red light device uses specific wavelengths of light, to penetrate the skin with photons and change cell function. Like I said there is major science behind light therapy, here is how it can help you: skin health, muscle recovery, inflammation, wound healing, sleep optimization, joint pain, libido, improve thyroid health. I’ve shared my Hashimoto’s thyroiditis journey and the Joovv Red Light is something I am incorporating in 2020 to hopefully improve my symptoms. Stay tuned for a post dedicated to reviewing the Joovv Red Light
EO wipes
I have searched high and low for a super clean deodorant that actually works. I am here to tell you I have found it and it is EO. Guys, think three–because that’s how many ingredients you’ll find in there natural spray deodorant. With other organic clean deodorants I found myself still smelling at the end of the day ( not with EO). EO is made from organic alcohol derived from sugar cane to fight odor-causing bacteria, purified water, and organic essential oils. Bonus– they have deodorant wipes to keep in your purse and stay fresh all day.
Four Sigmatic
If you have’t heard of Four Sigmatic you are probably living under a rock. Four Sigmatic is a great option if you are trying to reduce your daily coffee/ caffeine intake. The company claims it can boost your brain power, increase productivity and reduce stress. Their coffee has some extra goodies in it like Lion’s mane and chaga. These contain adaptogens, which help combat the effects of stress. Another Four sigmatic bonus is the limited amount of caffeine in one cup. To consume the 400 milligrams of caffeine per day (which is the limit recommended for adults), you would have to drink FOUR eight-ounce cups of (non-mushroom) coffee per day. Here are a couple of my favorite Four Sigmatic picks [1] & [2]
Dry Farm Wines
They claim to be the only health focused wine club in the world. If you are like me wine is a must throughout the week. Dry Farm Wines curates only the highest quality natural wines from small, sustainable family farms that meet our strict standard of health. Unlike today’s commercialized and processed wines, this is real wine. Nothing added, nothing removed. My favorite part is their wine have Lower Sulfites (< 75ppm). I have noticed with less sulfites I wake up the next morning without a headache or hangover.
Branch Basics
You knew Branch Basics would be on this list. I have completely transitioned my house to natural, human safe cleaning products in 2020. And thanks to Branch Basics I was able to do that in a blink of an eye. Branch basics is: human safe, biodegradable, not tested on animals, non- GMO, plant and mineral based and free of harmful preservatives. They make it easy to get started with their starter kits. In the kit you will get their multipurpose cleaner and refillable bottles for all the household products you need. You simply pick a bottle, fill water to the water line and then fill with concentrate to the ” soap” line on the label. Use “Posie10” for 10% off all Starter Kits, trust me you will love their products.
Herbivore Prism
My skincare routine is a way to unplug from the world with a series of products. Really, I am hoping to erase all evidence of all current and former wrinkles. Herbivore Botanicals is one of my top skincare lines of 2020. This small company launched in 2011 on Etsy and has blown up– thanks to their highly active ingredients like essential vitamins, minerals, and botanicals and packaging that is (oh so ) IG worthy. Take the plunge this 2020 and treat yo’ self to so Herbivore products. If you are a PP regular you probably read my recent blog post Bakuchiol: What You Need To Know About This Natural Retinol Alternative which is my favorite product in their line.
These are just 10 of my favorite natural products for 2020 and we are just getting starting. Leave me a comment below if you want to hear about more natural products to try in 2020.
